Lonzo Ball had to sit out Friday's game for the New Orleans Pelicans due to a hip injury, so Zion Williamson decided to take on some point guard duties in his stead.

Zion showcased his passing acumen with this epic full-court dime to a wide-open Jaxson Hayes.

What a peach of a pass from the Pelicans star. Excellent court vision, too, from Zion who threw the perfect outlet pass as soon as he secured the rebound from the other end. Does this play remind you somewhat of a certain LeBron James?

While Ball had to sit out the bout against the mighty Philadelphia 76ers, the good news for the Pelicans is they got All-Star forward Brandon Ingram back following a five-game spell on the sidelines. Ingram was nursing a foot injury that caused him to miss a handful of games, but he was able to recover in time to battle the Sixers.

The Pelicans are coming off two straight defeats entering Friday's game. They are quickly falling in the standings out West and it looks like they're going to be missing out on the playoffs again this season. All hope is not lost as of yet, but Zion Williamson and Co. will need to stack up the wins soon.
