Williamson is already built like Thanos. Now, the high-flyer has a mini gauntlet.

The 21 other teams in Orlando, Florida are praying the Pelicans star doesn't snap his fingers at Walt Disney World and destroy the competition, although it's possible since the lefty was a stud before games were suspended in March due to COVID-19.

After missing the beginning of his NBA career due to knee surgery, Williamson averaged 23.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 58.9 percent from the field, 46.2 percent from deep and 64.5 percent from the charity stripe for the Pelicans. New Orleans went 10-9 with Williamson in the lineup.

To make the 2020 playoffs, the Pelicans have to perform well during the eight seeding games and hope that the Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings don't compile a better record than them.

New Orleans is in 10th place in the Western Conference standings. With Williamson leading the way, it's not impossible for New Orleans to accomplish its goal, but it will be tough.

Zion Williamson was a monster in high school and during his one year at Duke. It appears Zion is going to dominate the NBA for the next decade or so, assuming he stays healthy of course. Pelicans fans count their blessings every day that the franchise magically won the 2019 draft lottery, especially after losing Anthony Davis.
