Zion Williamson just signed a $193 million max extension to stay with the New Orleans Pelicans long-term. However, that is not the only reason why fans should get excited for the 2022-23 season and beyond.

On Saturday, Williamson was spotted in Paris attending what seems to be a streetball event. Of course he had to put on a show and get everyone hyped up, which he did with an explosive 360-degree windmill dunk. Classic Zion!

If that doesn't get Pelicans fans excited, we don't know what will.

Not only does Zion Williamson look fit and well-conditioned, but he seems to be getting back his usual spring and explosiveness after sitting out the whole 2021-22 campaign due to a foot injury.

His weight has been a major talking point for the most part of the past season, with fans and experts alike criticizing the forward for what appeared to be a significant weight gain as he rehabbed his injured foot. Several unflattering photos that made him look bigger than before also didn't help but only fuel talks about potential injury risks because of his shape.

Clearly, however, Zion has worked hard to get back and is now more than ready to play for the Pelicans once again. It remains to be seen how he'll perform when he plays in an official NBA game for the first time in over a year, but there is definitely a good reason to be optimistic.

Plus with several protections and benchmarks on his contract, it could very well add more motivation for Zion to show the world what he can do.
