New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson took to Twitter to share his thoughts about being selected as the cover athlete of the NBA 2K Mobile game.

Williamson, the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, has yet to play in an official NBA game, but he's already making a ton of headlines compared to other top picks of the previous years. He's touted as the first rookie since LeBron James to receive so much hype, and people are even saying that Zion has the potential to become as good as Bron.

In reality though, that remains to be seen. Williamson is expected to be the face of the Pelicans franchise, especially after they traded All-NBA forward Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers last month. The 19-year-old forward has some big shoes to fill, and the amount of pressure will surely intensify as the 2019-20 season draws near.

After playing only one season with the Duke Blue Devils, Williamson officially declared for the Draft, and as soon as it was announced that the Pelicans got the first pick, there were reports that tickets for some of their home games have already been sold out just a few minutes after the Draft lottery. That speaks volumes as to how excited fans are to see Zion step onto the court.

Aside from being the cover athlete of NBA 2K mobile, Williamson is also the highest-rated dunker in the recently released NBA 2K20.

If Zion lives up to the hype, then he'll be more than just the cover athlete for NBA games. He'll be the league's poster boy in the future.
