Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans wasn't even born when Vince Carter of the Atlanta Hawks won the 2000 Slam Dunk Contest — who some say is the greatest dunk performance of all-time.

Williamson's first year in the NBA might be Carter's last. And the first overall draft pick is looking to get advice from one they call Half-Man, Half-Amazing.

Per Anthony Olivieri of ESPN, Williamson knows what Carter has done in the past and how much of a legend he is today:

“I wasn't even a thought [his birthday was July 6, 2000]. I got a lot of respect for him. I'll probably try to get some advice out of him if he wants to give it to me. But yeah, it's going to be crazy. Everybody knows about that 2000 dunk contest and what he has done for the game. So it'll be like, ‘Wow, I wasn't even born yet.'”

In the event that Carter does give advice to Williamson, what would he say to the young man? We all know how much of an athletic freak Williamson is — just like Carter once was in his heyday. Will Carter offer Williamson some tips and tricks on how to maximize his athleticism?

The Pelicans will first duel against the Hawks on March 16 at Smoothie King Center.

Their second and final game for the season will be two weeks later on March 31 at State Farm Arena.
