New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson has no doubt that teammate Brandon Ingram should be an All-Star this season. Ingram is having a career-year with the Pelicans and Williamson is excited to play with him soon:

Ingram figures to get paid a lot of money next summer when he enters restricted free agency. As a restricted free agent, Ingram can sign an offer sheet with any team and then the Pelicans would have 48 hours to match the deal or let the talented swingman walk for nothing. Ingram is making $7.3 million this season. His qualifying offer is worth $9.5 million. Expect New Orleans to quickly sign him to a lucrative new deal.

In 39 games this season for the Pelicans, Ingram is averaging 25.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists. He's shooting 47.7 percent from the field, 39.9 percent from beyond the arc and 85.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Williamson is expected to make his regular season debut on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs. In his lone season at Duke, Williamson put on an absolute show. The forward averaged 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 68.0 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from beyond the arc and 64.0 percent from the free-throw line.

Pelicans fans are hoping Ingram and Williamson can be the team's dynamic duo for the next decade or so. Both players have a lot of upside, but they have to stay healthy for the Pelicans to be a consistent playoff team in the Western Conference.
