At this early point in his career, New Orleans Pelicans stud Zion Williamson is already the owner of a pretty awesome highlight reel. Some of it dates back to his pre-NBA days, with his freakish combination of strength and athleticism already on full display even as a high school teenager.

Today we honor the 19-year-old rookie with a compilation of Zion's best dunks of his very young career.

Let's start things of with a collection of Zion's best dunks as a high schooler with Spartanburg Day School. His unmatched built made him look like a man among boys, and this predictably resulted in more than a few highlight-reel dunks. Below are some of his best from his senior year.

Zion also once participated in a dunk-off while he was still in high school. This was in 2018 during the dunk contest of the McDonald's All American Game in Atlanta, Georgia. To be honest, some his dunks were already NBA-caliber at that point. Needless to say, he easily won that particular contest. Hopefully, he joins an actual NBA Dunk Contest sooner rather than later.

During Zion's one-year stint with Duke, he made a total of 62 dunks. ESPN produced an excellent compilation of all said dunks throughout his short-lived college career, and it's safe to say that most of them are Sports Center-worthy.

In the summer of 2019, the Pelicans selected Williamson first overall in the draft. There was no question that he was going to be taken at the No. 1 spot, and it just so happened that the Pels hit the jackpot during the lottery.

Come October, Zion made his preseason debut against the Atlanta Hawks. A few minutes into the first quarter and we were already treated with his first poster dunk in the NBA.

Zion then injured his knee, and was forced to undergo surgery. He ended up missing the first three months of the NBA season as he rehabbed his surgically-repaired knee. He finally made his much-awaited debut on January 22, 2020 against the San Antonio Spurs, and it was quite a performance. New Orleans lost, but the rookie scored 17 straight points in a valiant effort to cut the deficit.

As the games went on, the Pelicans gradually increased Williamson's minutes limit. As expected, he found his form soon enough. Zion proved that all the hype surrounding him was warranted, and he has since treated the fans with a variety of insane dunks in his first season as a pro. Below are some of his best ones from the 2019-20 campaign.
