It's no secret that every single NBA team would love to have New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis. While trade rumors continue to swirl frequently, especially involving the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics, there's nothing imminent involving Davis because he hasn't shown any inkling of wanting to leave just yet.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, it's very unlikely any kind of move involving Davis occurs this season. Instead, the Pelicans are trying to improve the team around their superstar.

The Pelicans aren't interested in trading Davis and instead have been engaged in trade talks to try to improve their team around him. They are currently in 12th in the standings but, as is the nature of the Western Conference, they are just three games out of fourth place.

Davis is a megastar and arguably the best big man in the league. Some even believe he could be the best player in the league.

Davis has given no indication he wants to leave New Orleans. In fact, he has been dedicating himself toward the team over the past year more than ever before. He's playing through injuries. He's playing out of his preferred position. He has shown noticeable leadership growth. He's having a career season and has a real chance at the MVP award.

While a trade can never be ruled out, all the signs are pointing in the direction that would suggest Anthony Davis stays put for the time being. Davis is having a fantastic season as usual and is working on trying to get to the playoffs in New Orleans.
