New Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry has been in a good mood lately. Number one overall pick Zion Williamson is playing again and the Pelicans are starting to win some games and inch closer to a playoff spot out West.

Because Gentry is in good spirits, he's able to have some fun with the local media in New Orleans. On Thursday, the Pelicans coach poked fun at Will Guillory of The Athletic for his unique Mardi Gras costume:

It's always fun when players and coaches have a good rapport with the local media. It makes for some funny press conferences and moments like this one.

The Pelicans are 25-33 on the season. They are in 10th place in the Western Conference standings. New Orleans is three games back of the Memphis Grizzlies for the eighth and final playoff spot.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that Williamson has been a beast in his first 13 NBA games.
