Brandon Ingram of the New Orleans Pelicans suffered a scary-looking injury against the Phoenix Suns when he collided with Dario Saric — then hit his head on the hardwood due to Saric’s knee hitting Ingram in the back of the head. Here’s footage of the dangerous-looking collision:

The Pelicans immediately reported that Ingram was receiving stitches and that his return to the game was TBD:

However, soon after that announcement, the 22-year-old wing returned to the game to help the Pels scrape their way back into the game. A tightly contested affair throughout, Ingram came back into the game with a heavy bandage on his head after getting the stitches.

Ingram is having a career year with the Pels in 2019-20, with 25.4 points per game, 7.2 rebounds per game and 4.1 assists per game all representing career-highs.
