Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert is one of the best rim protectors in the league right now, butĀ New Orleans Pelicans star Brandon Ingram did not seem fazed at all on Thursday.

At the eight-and-a-half minute mark of their respective teams' match-up at the Smoothie King Arena, Ingram shook off his initial defender Royce O'Neal with a nifty jab step. The lanky 22-year-old used Derrick Favor's screen and made his way to the cup where he was met by the seven-foot Stifle Tower.

Using his speed advantage against Gobert, Ingram blew past the Frenchmen and knew he had to finish strong to complete the play. He unleashed a monster two-handed reverse slam right over the extended arm of the two-time DPOY winner.

Brandon Ingram, meanwhile, continues his breakout season in his first year in a Pelican uniform. The Duke product has been averaging All-Star worthy numbers of 25.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.2 dimes, and 1.0 steals while shooting 47.6 percent from the field and 40.7 from deep.Ā ā€”
