New Orleans Pelicans power forward Zion Williamson still has yet to make his 2019-20 NBA season debut due to a knee injury. Fortunately, it appears that has not prevented him from expanding his game.

Williamson was spotted hitting one three after another prior to the matchup with the Denver Nuggets, via Duvalier Johnson of Mile High Sports:

It is always safe to take practice shots with a grain of salt, however, it is still encouraging to see Williamson trying to make the necessary adjustments to his game. While suffering the torn meniscus was hardly ideal going into his rookie campaign, he has clearly put a focus on extending his range while New Orleans continues to take a cautious approach with the injury.

It is no secret that the Pelicans have endured their fair share of struggles this season with all the new faces in town. As a result, clips like these only create more excitement for fans anxiously awaiting Williamson's return.
