With the eyes of the entire basketball world on him, New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson didn't disappoint and threw off an impressive assists to Brandon Ingram in the the first four minutes of his professional career.

And what a beauty it was.

There are likely many more where that came from for the preternaturally talented Williamson, who will benefit from playing alongside burgeoning stars like Brandon Ingram in the Pelicans.

Williamson did not score in his first “short burst” that both head coach Alvin Gentry and Pelicans executive vice president of basketball operations David Griffin said that he would be featured in during his first contest.

With everything that he does on his first night likely to be heavily scrutinized, Zion Williamson displaying a deft passing touch so quickly out of the gate bodes well for the complete package of skills that he is likely to show off.
