The Golden State Warriors are one win away from becoming the having the best regular season win total in NBA history.

Scottie Pippen, who originally threw shade at the Warriors when asked about a seven-games series between his 1995-96 Bulls and this year's Warriors, congratulated Golden State on tying that Bulls team when they reached 72 wins on Sunday.

Kobe Bryant recently said that the Warriors should focus on getting the “damn record”, and LeBron James also wants to see it happen.

Even Michael Jordan has told Draymond Green that he would hold Green personally responsible if the Warriors failed to break his old team's record.

Now Phil Jackson has joined the congratulatory fest:

All of these NBA legends share one thing in common: they love and appreciate great basketball. So when they see greatness as we've been blessed to witness this year in the form of the Warriors, they rightly congratulate that because these things only happen ever so rarely.

Whether or not this team is best ever is a long discussion for another time, but for now, as these NBA greats have done, just appreciate greatness.
