It has been an incredible run for Phil Mickelson at the PGA Championship this week. Mickelson entered Sunday with the lead and is currently embroiled in a battle with Brooks Koepka and others at the top of the leaderboard.

On the par-3 fifth hole at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, Mickelson turned in a vintage Lefty shot by chipping in from the bunker for a birdie to get to 7-under. Here's the shot in all its glory, complete with a terrific call from the legendary Verne Lundquist:

It has certainly been an eventful final round for Phil Mickelson at the PGA Championship. There has been a lot of red and green on the scorecard to start the round, and it's going to take a gutsy performance to beat Koepka and all the other challengers. After the chip-in birdie, he bogeyed and then birdied to get back to 7-under.

The 50-year-old Mickelson is looking for his first major victory since 2013. Lefty has one PGA Championship to his name (2005). Has won five majors overall, but he's still looking to win the U.S. Open to complete a career Grand Slam. He will get his chance later this year.

Phil Mickelson has won 44 times on the PGA Tour, which ranks No. 9 on the all-time list. He also made his PGA Tour Champions debut in 2020. He has already won twice there.

Stay tuned as Lefty tries to win major No. 6. It's going to be an incredible ride on Sunday.
