The Philadelphia 76ers are a young team who are continuing to rebuild their team to one day become serious contenders in the future and not just bottom feeders in the Eastern Conference.

Part of that plan was to bring in a veteran presence last year to give the young players someone to look up to and learn from. One of those veterans was Carl Landry. Unfortunately, he along with new acquisition Tibor Pleiss will not be with the team next year.

Per Shams Charania:

The Philadelphia 76ers are trimming their roster down to get ready for this upcoming season. Landry was a solid player for the team last year, but they just didn't have enough room for him.

The teams who can acquire Pleiss and/or Landry are as follows:

Carl Landry and Tibor Pleiss will most likely both sit on the waiver wire for a while, but if one of them is going to be picked up immediately, it will probably be Landry.
