Philadelphia Phillies slugger Nick Castellanos has made a unique name for himself within MLB. One of the league's most esteemed hitters, it seems Casty has a knack for hitting the long ball at rather inopportune moments for those commentating on the game. The bizarre trend returned on Memorial Day, as Castellanos clubbed a solo shot off of Logan Webb while commentators discussed the sacrifice our veterans made for the United States.

At this point, it would almost be weird if Castellanos didn't hit a homer during a serious announcement from the commentary team. We're not sure why broadcasters still read out messages during Castellanos' at-bats, as he frequently interrupts them by barreling a ball into the seats, much to the delight of Phillies fans.

We've seen it time and time again from the slugger, most infamously during his tenure with the Reds while former broadcaster Thom Brennaman read an apology for some hateful comments he made, in what has now become one of the most renowned memes in all of baseball.

The Phillies slugger has had multiple incidents of hitting untimely home runs, and he did it once again this Memorial Day Weekend, crushing a long ball to left field right in the middle of what had the start of a heartwarming sentiment from the broadcast team.

Will the madness ever end? The Phillies star is a menace to broadcast teams across baseball and he showcased that once again on Monday night.

The Phillies would end up losing the game 5-4 in extra innings despite hitting three solo shots off of Webb in the game.
