Andre Drummond is an underrated center in the league who's always performed at a high level with the Detroit Pistons. He once again showed why keeping him is a priority for the team as he posted another impressive stat line against the Brooklyn Nets.

The center led the Pistons to an outstanding victory against the Brooklyn Nets. He finished with a total of 25 points, 20 rebounds, six assists, three steals, and five blocks. His impressive numbers were reminiscent of another Detroit great.

Laimbeer was an instrumental cog to the Bad Boy Pistons, an iteration of the team that won two NBA titles during the late '80s. It was thanks to Laimbeer's no-nonsense and physical play that the Pistons managed to dominate opponents. Even Michael Jordan's early Bulls teams were thwarted by Laimbeer and his teammates. Pistons fans are probably happy to see that the tradition of having fantastic bigs down low is being kept by Drummond.

Another legendary center was thrown into the mix as Drummond also matches numbers made by The Dream.

However, his strong performance only puts plenty of question marks in his future. He's going to be a free agent in the coming summer, and teams will definitely be on the lookout for his availability. Not a single NBA team will pass up on signing a player who averages 14.2 points and 13.8 rebounds his entire career. Moreover, his defensive prowess is something many playoff teams and championship contenders are always looking for.

Drummond has come out to express his love for the city, even going so far to declare his plans to sign a new contract with the team. While fans can rest comfortably with that declaration, a lot of things can happen between now and the offseason.

Pistons Nation will be hoping that their star big man will continue impressing them with such performances beyond this season.
