Andre Drummond has turned into one of the best big men in the league, and even though the Detroit Pistons haven't had the type of season they were hoping for, he has had another exceptional year.

He has played 68 games so far this year and in those games, he has averaged 14.8 points and 15.8 rebounds. He is shooting 52.9 percent from the field, and his free throw shooting has improved again this year getting up to 61 percent from the field. One of the most impressive stats though is how many 15 rebounds games he has had so far this season.

It seems like every game Andre Drummond is filling in the stat sheet, but it hasn't turned into the wins that the Pistons have hoped for. Over the last ten games, the Pistons only have three wins which have pushed them six games back of the Milwaukee Bucks for the final playoff spot.

With only 12 games left this season for the Pistons, it looks like a real longshot that they will make the playoffs. With a little more time in the offseason that will allow more time for Drummond to work on his jump shot that he is hoping to add this summer.

Drummond has talked about how he would like to add a jump shot, and that would really open up his game, and also open up the floor for the rest of the Pistons next year.

“That’s something I’ve worked on all season behind closed doors, taking my time to critique it, perfect it and next season, I should be shooting them consistently,” Drummond said. “Going into year seven of my career, it’s time I expand my game; the game has changed each year…It’s about time I start shooting those little jump shots around the free-throw line; when I’m left wide open, I should be able to shoot that shot.”
