Detroit Pistons big man Andre Drummond has been a rebounding machine ever since he entered the league in 2012. So much in fact that the eighth-year center has recorded 41 career 20-20 games.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Drummond's 41 games of at least 20 points and 20 rebounds ties NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley for the fourth-most such games since the NBA-ABA merger in 1976-77.

Drummond recorded his 41st such game with exactly 20 points and 20 rebounds in a 105-92 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Friday.

The only players to have more 20-20 games since the merger are Hakeem Olajuwon who has 42, Dwight Howard who has 51, and Moses Malone who had 109 such games in 19 years.

For the second season in a row, Drummond is the NBA's leading rebounder. Through 45 games, the 6-foot-10 big man is averaging 17.2 points, 15.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the field.

Drummond has also been a pest defensively, putting up career-highs in both steals (2.1) and blocks (1.8) per game.

As for Barkley, the 6-foot-6 power forward is considered by many to be one of the greatest rebounders in NBA history. Barkley averaged 11.7 rebounds per game for his career and a career-high 14.6 per game in his third season.

Drummond's 2019-20 season stats are nearly identical to his per-game numbers from last season as the former UConn star is putting up the same exact number of rebounds and .1 fewer points per game this year.

As a team, Drummond and the Pistons have struggled without fellow star big man Blake Griffin who has been out with injury for the majority of the season. through 50 games, Detroit is 17-33 and in 11th place in the Eastern Conference.
