Detroit Pistons guard Avery Bradley is set to make his first appearance back in Boston after being traded for Marcus Morris this past offseason. Bradley spent his first seven seasons in the NBA with the Celtics, but with free agency looming this summer, he’s not yet ready to commit to seeing himself lasting that long with the Pistons.

Bradley has had a strong start to his Pistons career. Despite playing just 31.5 minutes, which is down from his previous two years, he’s still averaging a career-best 16.8 points per game (second on the team behind Tobias Harris). He's also shooting 42 percent from beyond the arc, which is also a personal best mark.

Bradley is likely looking to get paid handsomely in the offseason. But after the Pistons balked at handing their previous starting shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope the money he was asking for and allowed him to walk in free agency, it remains to be seen whether they will be willing to match Bradley and his contract demands.

If not, then even if the fit on the court in Detroit is to Bradley’s liking, he may still go elsewhere to a team which can offer him the contract he’s looking for.
