The Detroit Pistons are listing All-Star power forward Blake Griffin as doubtful to play against the New York Knicks on Wednesday in the regular season finale.

Griffin is still dealing with left knee soreness and didn't look close to being 100 percent on Tuesday versus the Memphis Grizzlies. The high-flyer appeared to tweak his knee during warmups and was pretty much a decoy against the Grizzlies, as Griffin finished with five points while shooting 2-of-5 from the field.

The Pistons are in the eighth and final playoff spot in the East. They are a half game ahead of the Charlotte Hornets. Detroit is looking to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

The Knicks are one of the worst teams in the NBA. One would think the Pistons should be able to defeat New York with the postseason on the line. However, this Detroit team has looked very inconsistent lately. They were down by double-digits at home against the Grizzlies on Tuesday and had to come back to win that game.

Griffin is averaging 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game this season for the Pistons. He's shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 75.3 percent from the free-throw line.
