Detroit Pistons star power forward Blake Griffin will determine an appropriate offseason game plan for his left knee injury this week.

Griffin and the Pistons aren't sure if the high-flyer will require surgery yet, but some type of medical attention will be necessary:

“I’ll address that today and tomorrow and have a game plan going from there,” Griffin said, via Rod Beard of the Detroit News. “It will be something, yes. I don’t think it’ll interfere with any offseason workout plans that I have. We’ll figure that out.”

Griffin missed Games 1 and 2 against the Milwaukee Bucks because of the left knee injury. The All-Star played in Games 3 and 4, but he was laboring and it was clear he wasn't even close to 100 percent.

Griffin put up monster numbers during the regular season for the Pistons, who made the playoffs this season for the first time since 2016. Griffin averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 75.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Hopefully, Griffin doesn't need surgery in the offseason. He has already undergone surgery on his knees before when he was with the Los Angeles Clippers. The Pistons' best player is going to be motivated to atone for what happened against the Bucks in the postseason.
