Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin has certainly maximized his popularity by dabbling into television from time to time.

The 30-year-old six-time All-Star reportedly already has a new project in line, as he is set to try his hand in comedy through a holiday special and will develop a show with Comedy Central, per Deadline.

“The network is developing a pilot for comedic interview show One On One with Blake Griffin, from Trooper Entertainment and Mortal Media. Additionally, Griffin is set to host “31 Days of Holiday Survival,” described by the network as “a month of programming dedicated to getting you through the holidays with your sanity intact.”

The premise of show reportedly involves Griffin challenging some famous personalities in games of their own choosing, while conducting an interview.

We’ve seen Griffin’s comedic chops when he faced off against comedian Jeff Ross in “Roast Battle” last year.

The former Slam Dunk Champion has also appeared in numerous commercials and made his acting debut in the comedy film “The Female Brain” released in 2017. Critic Christy Lemire even praised Griffin for his deadpan delivery and timing and said he will “have a whole ‘nother career waiting for him if this whole NBA thing doesn’t work out.”

Griffin, meanwhile, has only appeared in five games for the Pistons this season after recovering from hamstring and posterior knee issues. He is currently averaging 19.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 29 minutes per game, while shooting 42.3 percent from the field and 24.0 percent from downtown.

Detroit is currently 10th in the East with a 6-11 record.
