Detroit Pistons' All-Star forward Blake Griffin decided to play in Game 3 of their first round playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks. The 30-year old forward didn't suit up in Games 1 and 2 because of a nagging knee injury that he's been dealing with since the beginning of the month.

The 30-year old forward finished with 27 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two steals, but it still wasn't enough as the Pistons lost to the Bucks 119-103. They are now down 0-3 in the series.

After the game, Pistons coach Dwane Casey lauded Griffin for playing through injury and his efforts throughout the regular season in general.

Blake Griffin has been the lone bright spot for the Pistons this season. Unfortunately for him, Detroit is facing arguably the best team in the league right now. The Bucks came into this series with the best record in the NBA, which means pulling off an upset was already an almost impossible task for Motor City.

Griffin, however, is still optimistic about the team's future. He said he's already happy with what they were able to accomplish this season, which is to make the playoffs. The athletic forward looks committed to the Pistons, which is a good sign for the franchise as they move towards building a championship team in the future.
