Reggie Bullock bounced back from a five-game absence following an ankle injury only to find his jumper scorching nets. In the last three games, the Detroit Pistons sharpshooter has connected on 16 of his 29 3-pointers, a recent stroke that has him feeling like the best shooter in the league.

The 27-year-old was coming off a career-best season shooting the 3, canning 44.5 percent of his long-range attempts, good for the second-best efficiency mark in 2017-18 after Darren Collison of the Indiana Pacers (46.8 percent).

“I give praise to my teammates, for continuing to tell me to shoot the ball with rhythm,” said Bullock, according to Rod Beard of The Detroit News. “They know I’m a great shooter and the coaches were telling me to step right into it and let it go every time,” Bullock said. “They believe in me and saw shots falling. I was like, ‘(Expletive), I feel like I’m the best shooter in the league; I just have to keep shooting.’”

Bullock has managed a strong 39.8 percent from deep this season, a clip that could go up if his teammates continue to have confidence in him and find him in great spots to make the most of his shooting ability.

Bullock has already gotten the ringing endorsement from the team's star player, Blake Griffin, who has seen his stable presence since arriving via trade.

“He was great,” said Griffin of Bullock. “From the time I got here last year, he’s played at that level and shot at that level. He’s more than just a shooter — he makes the right basketball play. He does space the floor and knock down shots, but he’s much more than that.

“He’s a shooter. He can walk in the gym and can shoot, whether he’s cold or warm, hasn’t shot in months, tired or not tired. He’s a shooter — that’s what he does.”

Bullock hasn't acquired much notoriety since being atop the shortlist of premiere 3-point shooters last season, but collective consistency and a spot in this season's playoffs should bring plenty of it as he enters the free-agent market following this season.
