Reggie Bullock would reportedly consider returning to the Detroit Pistons this summer if the finances worked, according to James Edwards III of The Athletic.

The Pistons traded Bullock to the Los Angeles Lakers at the 2019 February trade deadline. Bullock becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Following the trade, the source said that Bullock understood the business aspect of the decision and would still be willing to return to the Pistons as a free agent if, again, the finances were in order. Bullock has been in the league since 2013 and hasn’t made more than $2.5 million in a season.

Bullock has played in 174 games with the Pistons. He averaged 8.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists with Detroit while shooting 45.0 percent from the field, 41.2 percent from beyond the arc and 84.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Bullock didn't play that well with the Lakers and could look to go back to Detroit this summer since he knows the organization and has a strong rapport with Pistons All-Star power forward Blake Griffin. The veteran guard made $2.5 million in 2018-19.

The Pistons made the playoffs this season for the first time since 2016. They got swept by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round. The Lakers could look to re-sign Bullock since they need shooters around LeBron James. We'll see what Bullock decides to do once free agency starts.
