Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson has only played in two games this season due to a back injury.
Jackson saw a back specialist while the team was in Los Angeles. The guard is now making progress, but it's still unknown when he will return to the Pistons' lineup.

Reggie Jackson played in all 82 games last season for the Pistons. He put up 15.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 42.1 percent overall, 36.9 percent from the 3-point line and 86.4 percent from the charity stripe.
Jackson is making $18.1 million this season. He will enter unrestricted free agency next summer.
The Pistons are just 13-24 on the season, which puts them at 11th place in the Eastern Conference. Although Detroit is only four games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the East, they have done nothing this season to prove they are worthy of a postseason spot.
Blake Griffin has been a shell of himself after undergoing left knee surgery this past summer. He had another surgery on Tuesday, which will keep him out indefinitely. The Pistons have yet to win three games in a row this season.
Some pundits believe Detroit just needs to tear the roster down and embark on a rebuild. Like Jackson, Andre Drummond can enter unrestricted free agency next summer if he declines his 2020-21 player option with Detroit. The All-Star center is expected to be traded before the February trade deadline.
