There seems to be some trouble brewing in the Motor City.

After putting up a gallant stand albeit losing to the Washington Wizards, Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson is now throwing shade at teammate Andre Drummond.

Speaking to reporters inside the locker room, Jackson noted how the Pistons' game changed, for the better, when Drummond was off the floor, via Troy Haliburton.

“We were a lot quicker. And we were finally allowed to play basketball.”

The Pistons lost by four points, 111-115, where Andre Drummond's plus/minus rating was a -7.

Two years ago, Detroit's fans held high hopes on the tandem of Reggie Jackson and Drummond to become the team's core for the future. A career year from Jackson and an All-Star stint for Drummond resulted to a playoff appearance for the young group.

Now, two years feel like ages ago with Jackson and Drummond no longer holding cemented spots on the team. The veteran point guard had a forgettable season last year, mainly due to injuries, while Drummond also underwhelmed after coming off an All-Star campaign in 2015-16. Furthermore, both players have had their names thrown in trade rumors a number of times over the past year.

However, only two games have been played this season and the Pistons still have an abundance of opportunity for them to turn the corner both on and off the court.
