Watch out world, there's a new sheriff in town and he comes in the form of Detroit Pistons rookie Saddiq Bey. The 22-year-old just channeled his inner Stephen Curry as he caught fire in the first quarter of Monday's tilt against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Bey went 6-of-7 from distance as he finished with 18 points after just one period of play (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

Talk about a hot hand from Bey here. The 6-foot-7 small forward has been heating up for the Pistons of late, and he carried on with his fine form on Monday against the Cavs.

Bey had an off night shooting on Saturday in a blowout loss against the Washington Wizards, but in his previous three appearances, the 19th overall pick of the 2020 draft has put up averages of 21.0 points (on 60.9 percent shooting), 3.0 rebounds, and 2.5 steals, while also connecting on 4.5 triples per game on an astounding 60.0-percent clip.

Bey has emerged as quite a steal for the Pistons, and he has shown that he has a bright future ahead of him. It looks like he has done enough to establish himself as one of Detroit's young studs as they look to form a core that they will build around over the next few years.
