After a busy day in the rumor mill, Detroit Pistons president and head coach Stan Van Gundy took it upon himself to reached out to his starting point guard, Reggie Jackson, and tell him he wasn't going anywhere.

The Pistons were rumored to be the latest team to express interest in Phoenix Suns estranged guard Eric Bledsoe, reportedly packaging Jackson and a pick in return for Bledsoe, while other sources said both teams were looking for a third willing to take on Jackson in a three-team swap.

Van Gundy called Jackson after practice on Thursday, with his message being simple.

“We’re not trading you for Eric Bledsoe,” Van Gundy told Jackson, according to Johnny Kane of Fox Sports Detroit.

Jackson and Van Gundy have butted heads in the past and the double-titled, long-tenured coach has been blunt about his floor general underperforming last season.
