After conducting his end-of-the-season press conference on Tuesday, Detroit Pistons star power forward Blake Griffin shook hands with every media member who was in attendance and wished them a good summer.

It was a class act from Griffin.

This is really cool. As we have seen with Oklahoma City Thunder superstar point guard Russell Westbrook, players often times don't have the best relationships with media members. For Griffin to greet every reporter speaks to the high character of the Pistons' best player.

The Pistons were swept by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs. Griffin missed Games 1 and 2 because of the left knee injury which has been plaguing him for the past month or so. The All-Star high-flyer played in Games 3 and 4, but the Pistons just didn't have enough talent to beat the Bucks, who had the best record in the NBA during the regular season.

Griffin should hold his head high. He had a stellar campaign for the Pistons in 2018-19. The former No. 1 overall pick averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 75.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Hopefully, Griffin doesn't need to have surgery on his left knee so he can have a full offseason to train and get better.
