With the Pittsburgh Steelers Week 11 matchup being against the Los Angeles Chargers, they'll have a chance to redeem themselves after a poor performance against the Detroit Lions. The AFC North is a wide-open race and Pittsburgh needs a win on Sunday. We go over this Steelers-Chargers game with some of our Steelers Week 11 predictions in mind.

The defense is the real deal, but the Steelers will be without TJ Watt and Joe Haden in this matchup. For that reason, it'll be tough for Pittsburgh to keep up with the Chargers' offense in this one. Even so, this is a well-coached unit that will bring the heat regardless.

Pittsburgh's offense looked pathetic with Mason Rudolph under center. We'll see if the team can bounce back and secure a win over Los Angeles. For that to happen, Chase Claypool needs to step up and be a consistent pass option. Additionally, we should see the offense improve with Ben Roethlisberger back in the huddle. Lastly, this is a perfect matchup for Najee Harris to take over LA. With that said, here are four bold Steelers Week 11 predictions for their game against the Chargers.

Steelers Week 11 Predictions

4. Steelers defense locks down the Chargers passing attack

This will be a tough task overall. The Steelers pass rush is hobbled and their pass coverage won't be in peak form. Los Angeles has every reason to light up the field on Sunday. If Pittsburgh isn't careful, this could turn into a blowout real quick.

To avoid that, Mike Tomlin has to get the Steelers ultra prepared. Although they'll be without their best players on defense, they'll have a chance to attack Justin Herbert and the Chargers. Look for Pittsburgh to get creative to generate different looks to confuse LA's young quarterback.

3. Chase Claypool reels in 2 touchdowns of his own

Chase Claypool has been nearly invisible this year. The Steelers have to find a way to get their young receiver more involved. Claypool is incredibly athletic and has flashed his potential throughout the season. However, it's time Pittsburgh utilizes their stud receiver to open up the field a bit more. He can be a vital weapon, as Claypool has the size to dominate any cornerback in the NFL.

2. Ben Roethlisberger turns back the clock with a big-time performance

It's been a while since we've seen Ben Roethlisberger put on a spectacular performance. He's in the back end of his career, but Big Ben is clearly the best quarterback on the roster. The Steelers need Roethlisberger to perform at his best if they hope to stay in the playoff race in the competitive AFC North.

1. Najee Harris erupts for 125+ rushing yards and 3 total touchdowns

Although Pittsburgh's offensive line has been atrocious, Najee Harris has provided solid consistency out of the backfield. The Steelers have relied on Harris throughout the year, as he's been a great asset in the passing game as well. He could be in for the biggest game of his career so far, as the Chargers' defense can't slow down the run to save their lives.

Look for Najee Harris to get involved early and often. Opponents with a mediocre rushing attack have gashed the Chargers on the ground. For that reason, Harris and the Steelers should be capable of achieving that same goal. If he can dominate the ground game, Pittsburgh will have a chance to win this contest on Sunday.
