Early copies of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl suddenly surfaced online out of nowhere. Some people are now in possession of these copies and started leaking information about the game’s content online. These leaks suggest that both Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are missing some content from Pokemon Platinum.

These leaks come as a disappointment to many fans since they were expecting certain Pokemon Platinum content. According to Centroleaks, some of Pokemon Platinum’s content won’t be available in the remakes. Content such as trainer teams, level of Pokemon from those teams, and gym puzzles won’t come from Pokemon Platinum. Even characters from Platinum are nowhere to be found in the remakes.

Pokemon fans are without a doubt bummed out by the situation. However, it’s worth mentioning that The Pokemon Company never promised to bring in Platinum content in the remakes. Plus we need to consider that the remakes’ titles are “Brilliant Diamond” and “Shining Pearl”. This means that fans should’ve already expected that Platinum content might not see the day of light in the remakes.

Honestly speaking, Platinum content not coming out in the remakes is totally okay. However, everyone’s concern right now is if there’s actually new content coming out in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. As of the moment, the leaks suggest that there isn’t any new content within the remakes. It’s either the leakers haven’t found them yet or they truly are non-existent. Some pokemon fans may want Pokemon Platinum content, but many others are expecting new content to drop for the remakes. We’ll find out once and for all when Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl releases on November 19, 2021.
