Let’s be honest, a lot of Pokemon trainers today only recently hopped on the franchise when the Switch came out. Since Pokemon came out in the late ’90s, modern Pokemon trainers aren’t familiar with every Pokemon out there. This could possibly change today with the launch of the Pokemon TV App on the Nintendo Switch.

Pokemon TV App was previously launched on mobile back in 2019 for both iOS and Android. Pokemon TV is a free video streaming service developed by The Pokemon Company containing Pokemon-centric content. Viewers have access to watching the very first episode up until the latest season of Pokemon Journeys. Sadly, not all episodes are available yet but that doesn’t mean it’ll be difficult to understand the series. Aside from the main series, the Pokemon TV App also offers Pokemon Kids episodes and some movies.

Nintendo Switch owners now have access to the Pokemon TV App in the Nintendo eShop. The application is free of charge, surprisingly so are the episodes. You can watch as many episodes as you like. This comes as a good thing for newer Pokemon fans. Since both Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are launching soon, now’s a good time for them to brush up on their Sinnoh region knowledge.
