Pokimane says she can't date a person who "streaming is their life"

Pokimane reveals to Mizkif why she thinks she can't date someone whose life revolves around streaming, and shares what she needs from a potential partner.

Pokimane revealed her dating specifications and said that she can't date someone whose life revolves around streaming. After watching the VALORANT Champions Tour Season 2 Finals, she spent the next three hours of her stream with her chat and with Mizkif. They talked about various topics and answered some questions from their fans. However, one of the things that caught our attention is Pokimane's admission that she can't date a streamer.

It started off with Pokimane telling Mizkif that GTA RP streamer xQc said that he thinks she's attractive. Mizkif sighs, and says, “I don't know why he said that.” She then tried to ask Mizkif on who he thinks could pair off with her well, but thought against it. Still, Mizkif pushed the issue, teasing Poki, but she says it's not appropriate to talk about on-stream, especially since they know a lot of streamers. Mizkif jokingly says that he only knows narcissistic streamers. “Do you want to date a narcissist?” Mizkif asked, to which Poki emphatically said no to.

Mizkif then asked Poki if she thinks she can date a streamer. “Do you think you can ever date a streamer? Like, a big streamer?” Pokimane then starts off by saying that whoever she's dating has to have high EQ and a lot of social experience. Then, she follows up with, “I don't think I could date someone where streaming is their life.” She continues, “What I'm trying to say that I found that a lot of people who stream a ton don't have a lot of social experience because they spend so much of their lives playing games.”

Pokimane then clarified that this applies to any job, not only for streamers. “If someone's work overtakes their life, it's hard to be in a relationship with someone like that.”
