Project Eve showed off a new trailer at the most recent PlayStation Showcase, though unfortunately no release date was announced for the game just yet. Project Eve was first unveiled in 2019, and has finally resurfaced again. You may view the new trailer below:

Project Eve Release Date: TBA

Shift Up, a Korean studio, is developing the game. Director Kim Hyung Tae sets up the game's premise in an official PlayStation Blog post:

“In the not-too-distant future, mankind is expelled from Earth after losing the battle against the invaders called the NA:tives. To win back Earth, the player becomes Eve, the survivor of the paratrooper squad deployed from the Colony, who must fight through powerful enemies with new comrades. We invite you to join Eve’s adventure in the face of unknown creatures on a desolate, destroyed Earth.

The Earth, embodied with such graceful graphics that take full advantage of PlayStation 5’s power, will convey unprecedented vibes that stand out from other post-apocalyptic worlds. As you accompany Eve throughout the game, you get one step closer to the secret hidden in this unusual world.”

The game is an action-focused hack-and-slash with an emphasis on precise timing. Based on the trailer, combat will be very fluid and fast. Additionally, Project Eve will take advantage of the PlayStation 5's Dual Sense haptic feedback. Players will also be traversing through an environment with hidden treasures around every corner – including different outfits for Eve.

Unfortunately, there is no current release date announced for Project Eve just yet. We'll keep you posted as soon as it's announced!
