Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari, reports that contract extensions for PSG are well on their way despite receiving huge interest from Real Madrid as of late. If anything, one thing remains on Mbappe's mind — Champions League success.
Via Daniel Edwards:

“We are currently in talks with PSG and things are going well,”

“I was even with Leonardo last night (Monday). After that, will we come to an agreement? One thing is certain: he will give his all until the end to win the Champions League.”

Lamari also revealed that the key issues over Mbappe's new contract were identified and sorted rather quickly which is seemingly key to keeping negotiations on track.

Real Madrid remains in hot pursuit of Mbappe after failing to bring the 22-year-old French forward to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer. Notably, Mbappe has not been shy about expressing his interest to join the Spanish giants in the foreseeable future.

“Because from the moment when I did not want to extend [my contract], I wanted the club to receive a transfer fee so they could bring in a quality replacement.”

Despite these comments made by the young Frenchman, PSG remains adamant to let the prodigy go for free, and the Parisians can hope to continue being optimistic in keeping their talisman within the passionate walls of the Parc des Princes.
