After days of anticipation, Lionel Messi has finally arrived in Paris to sign his two-year contract with PSG. The anticipation has been huge from fans, who are absolutely buzzing that Messi will now be a PSG player.

Of course, we're all interested to know how much he'll get paid after leaving Barcelona on abrupt terms due to financial issues. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano gave an update:

Lionel Messi will be getting huge wages with Paris, receiving close to €100 million across two seasons, with the option to stay for a third. It's not what he was getting paid from Barca, but it's still very, very high. The annual salary is about $41 million per year.

With the addition of Messi to Mauricio Pochettino's squad, PSG is undoubtedly now a favorite to win the Champions League. A frontline consisting of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi is arguably the best in the world.

Aside from signing Lionel Messi, the Ligue 1 giants also brought in the likes of Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Gini Wijnaldum all on free transfers. If there was any time to finally win Europe's most prized competition, it would be now.
