Sergio Ramos joined PSG on a free transfer from Real Madrid this past summer but due to injury, he's yet to make his debut for the club. That's undoubtedly left fans frustrated because after all, he is one of the best defenders to ever play the game. However, it seems like the Spaniard could be in line to finally take the pitch very soon.

PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino recently gave a promising update on Ramos' recovery. Via Goal:

“He is working extremely hard, and we think he is making good progress. We have to be patient, and he has been. That speaks to his maturity, so we think he can be back in the squad soon.

“He has been in full training three times this week. He is coping well with the workload and this is an important step to getting closer to competing.”

Ramos has been dealing with a thigh problem and that's forced him to miss the first 13 games of the Ligue 1 campaign. PSG haven't exactly missed his presence though, sitting at the very top of the table and dropping a mere four points domestically.

While Paris already possesses a rather strong backline, the arrival of Ramos will certainly make them even more solid. In the Champions League, the French giants currently have eight points from four games.

By the sounds of it, Ramos will be available to feature sooner rather than later.
