PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino could be plotting a stunner involving all of his superstars Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the opener of this year’s UEFA Champions League.

After missing out the action this past weekend in Ligue 1 against Clermont, Lionel Messi and Neymar will be rejoining Paris Saint-Germain for the Champions League match against Club Brugge on Wednesday, the club’s coach Mauricio Pochettino confirmed Saturday.

“They came back to Paris on Friday night and trained today,” Pochettino told reporters in a post-game conference. “I'm happy because even if they're tired, they don't have any physical problem. They will be here for Wednesday's game.”

Though stacked together in PSG, Messi, Neymar and Mbappe have yet to link up on the pitch all at the same time. It can be recalled that when Messi made his PSG debut against Reims on August 30, the Argentine came in as a sub for Neymar on the 66th minute.

However, the wait could finally be over as Pochettino teased that it is “possible” the PSG trio will be playing together inside the field for the first time on Wednesday.

“In the 90 minutes, maybe we'll see them [Messi, Neymar and Mbappe] together. It is possible,” Pochettino teased via Tribuna.

“I haven't decided on my starting line-up [this] year, we'll see after the training, there are still some doubts,” he continued. “We are a club that has invested a lot in players but now we have to lay the foundations to become a great team.”
