PSG has enjoyed an incredibly busy summer transfer window to this point, but they're apparently not done. According to the Mirror, the French giants are eyeing a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, who has hit a stalemate in contract talks with the Red Devils.

Pogba's current deal at Old Trafford runs out next summer and the two sides have struggled to come to an agreement on an extension. PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino, who was previously in charge of Tottenham, is very familiar with the Frenchman and is keen on making the 2018 World Cup winner his marquee signing.

Man United meanwhile are desperate to keep Pogba, who was a key piece of their second-place finish in the Premier League last term. But if they can't agree to terms, he would be available for negotiations with other clubs in January.

However, PSG believes they could potentially swoop in and lure him away from Manchester this summer. The Parisians are currently working at offloading players to fund a move for the 28-year-old, who they expect to cost around £50 million.

If PSG could somehow pull this off, it would top off a terrific transfer window. Pochettino has already brought in Sergio Ramos, Gini Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donarumma, and Achraf Hakimi. Along with the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe already, The Ligue 1 standouts will undoubtedly be a serious force to be reckoned with in the Champions League in 2021/22.
