Bluehole is looking to expand its hit series with a new mobile game titled PUBG: New State.

PUBG STUDIO'S KRAFTON TO RELEASE NEW PUBG MOBILE GAME THIS YEAR CALLED NEW STATE

A new trailer released on Thursday reveals the game’s familiar gameplay housed in its futuristic setting of 2051.

Veteran players might notice some things carried over from the first game, such as the original’s iconic iron pan. However, what stands out the most is the shiny new technology plastered all over Troi, New State’s massive new map. New guns, attachments, equipment, and even vehicles featured in the trailer. These give both old and incoming players exciting things to look forward to.

New State also looks to introduce some new mechanics that other more fast-paced battle royale games have been using for a while. From drone deliveries, deployable combat shields, less-complicated weapon attachments, and even combat rolls, this new game is looking to be more cutting-edge than PUBG Studio’s original game. Gone are the days when it’s all about stocking up on grenades and M4A1 attachments as it seems like the studio wants players to explore more options when it comes to engaging with their enemies.

Compared to the previous PUBG Mobile game, PUBG Studio will be developing New State. Tencent was the developer behind PUBG Mobile, so it would be interesting to see how PUBG Studio’s version will compare.

For anyone looking to pre-register, PUBG Studio is also providing future players with exclusive benefits like a limited edition vehicle skin that players can keep forever. Android users can already pre-register here, while iOS players will have to wait just a little longer for their pre-orders to open up. New State also has its own official social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Instagram.

PUBG: New State will release for both Android and iOS later in 2021.
