On Monday, safety Quandre Diggs got to enjoy his Seattle Seahawks debut by hauling in an interception during a rivalry game with the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers.

Watch below. Diggs reels in his first Seahawks interception on a tipped, overthrown pass from 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Tough Jimmy G targeted wide-out Kendrick Bourne, it ended up in the safety's out-reached arms. Subsequently, he batted off a 44-yard run to flip the field position.

Diggs is looking like he was worth the measly investment Seattle spent to acquire him. On Oct. 22, the Detroit Lions shipped off Diggs to the Seahawks in exchange of a fifth-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft. A starter and team captain in Motown, many considered the trade to be a steal for Seattle. He is proving those who thought so right.

The Seahawks used the field position Diggs gave to them wisely, as Russell Wilson led a touchdown drive to go up 14-10 against San Francisco.
