After guiding his team against the L.A. Clippers in the first round of the playoffs, Quin Snyder saw first hand how good of a player Chris Paul is and now has newfound respect for him.

The Utah Jazz head coach raved about Paul's ability to make adjustments in-game just like how a coach does, via Aaron Falk of The Salt Lake Tribune. Snyder also gave Paul's brilliant mind a lot of credit for continuously coming up with ways to help his team win. That said, he even went as far as calling the Clippers guard an all-time great.

“I think no matter what you do, he figures it out. He's probably as good as any coach in the league as far as his ability to make adjustments — and he doesn't have to wait until timeouts to do it.”

“Even without his All-Star running mate Blake Griffin by his side, the point guard has willed his team to victories in this first-round series. That's just one of the reasons Snyder already considers Paul “an all-time great.”

Snyder and Paul's paths crossed right after their very competitive series, during the press conferences. The two hugged and exchanged pleasantries when they saw each other, and both of them wished each other's future well.

With the 31-year-old Wake Forest product set to become a free agent this summer, it is expected that he won't have any shortage of teams wanting to sign him. Wherever Paul may end up next season, he will still be one of the most respected players in the league, not just by his fellow players, but also coaches, just like Snyder.
