Rafael Fiziev and Brad Liddell are set to fight at a soon-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on December 4. The fight was first announced by Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie.

The fight is not official yet as contracts haven't been signed. The matchup is currently on a verbal agreement from both Fiziev and Riddell.

The fight sees two world-class strikers meet up in a fight guaranteed to be a barn burner. It also serves as an opportunity to get the winner closer to the top-10 of the lightweight division.

Rafael Fiziev boasts an MMA record of 10-1 with five of those fights coming in the UFC, where he currently sits at 4-1. His last fight was an exciting decision victory over the crafty veteran, Bobby Green.

Fiziev has been making waves in the UFC with his exciting striking style and his bold comments as he gets better with the English language. His most impressive wins include a KO over Renato Moicano and a dominant decision over English prospect Marc Diakiese.

Brad Riddell currently serves as one of the striking coaches at the highly touted City Kickboxing in Auckland, New Zealand. He works with the likes of Israel Adesanya, Kai Kara-France, and Dan Hooker, among many others.

He's coming off of a barn burner against Drew Dober back at UFC 263. Riddell was able to get the victory in a gutsy performance in Arizona.

The two men set the Twitter world on fire when the fight was announced as many recognize them as some of the best strikers in the UFC. It will be interesting to see if the fight goes down as a chess match or an all-out brawl.

The Fight Night event is currently set to take place on December 4 with a location and venue see to be announced in the near future.
