The Oakland Raiders are coming off of a miserable 2018 campaign in which they won just four games, but thanks to a bustling offseason that included some major additions, there is hope for the club heading into 2019.

While the Raiders probably still won't make the playoffs, they should certainly be better than the abject disaster they were a year ago.

Plus, it's Oakland; even though no one would be surprised if the Raiders missed the postseason, they are a high-profile NFL franchise that always garners a lot of national attention.

So, here are the three Raiders players under the most pressure going into this season:

3. Trent Brown

Derek Carr was sacked 51 times this past season, which absolutely played a large role in what was a down year overall for the quarterback.

In order to help remedy that issue, Oakland went out and signed star offensive tackle Trent Brown, who spent this past season with the New England Patriots and was a crucial piece in helping the Patriots win their sixth Super Bowl title.

Brown, who spent the first three years of his career with the San Francisco 49ers, is yet to make a Pro Bowl, but he is widely viewed as one of the league's best tackles, and the Raiders paid him like it, giving him a four-year, $66 million deal ($36.75 million guaranteed).

Oakland is expecting immediate results from Brown, who should definitely help provide Carr with better protection. But if Carr continues to get rocked by opposing defenses? Brown's deal will start to look somewhat questionable.

2. Derek Carr

A few years ago, Carr looked like the Raiders' surefire franchise quarterback. In 2016, he threw for 3,937 yards, 28 touchdowns and six interceptions, competing for an MVP award before suffering a broken leg in Week 16.

But since then, things have begun to trend downward for Carr, which has some wondering if 2019 is his last chance to prove that he should remain under center in the Bay (and soon to be Las Vegas) for the long haul.

The Raiders could have drafted a quarterback this past spring, but they elected to stick with Carr and address other needs. That's all well and good, but all it proved was that Oakland was committed to Carr for 2019 and 2019 only.

If Carr struggles once again this season, the Raiders may start looking for another quarterback next offseason.

1. Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown wanted out of Pittsburgh. He got that. He wanted to go to the Raiders. He got that, too. He wanted a new contract. He got a three-year, $50 million deal.

Basically, Brown has received everything he has asked for this offseason, and yet, he has still caused trouble due to a battle with the NFL over the usage of his helmet.

As a result, Brown has barely gotten any practice time in with Carr and the offense, which could lead to some communication issues once the regular season begins.

We know Brown is a stud, but make no mistake: the pressure is on for him to have a big year in 2019, not just for the Raiders, but to stick it to everyone who has said that he was the main problem with the Steelers.

If Brown doesn't have a Pro Bowl-caliber season, people will question if adding him was actually worth it for Oakland. Heck, people are already doing that.
