Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown refuses to take flak from detractors about his specific helmet specifications. He took to Twitter to directly address his detractors about his helmet debacle.

He posted an interesting image on his Twitter account to have a laugh at the people saying he is too picky with his helmet.

In the image was a shopped image of him wearing the classic Raiders colors and an old-fashioned football helmet that was popular in the 1960s. The description attached to the image was simple: Mr. Outrageous.

Brown's helmet of choice is the Schlutt Air Advantage. This is the second time that Brown's appeal for the helmet to be cleared was denied. The wide receiver is mad with the decision that he is threatening to walk away from the game.

However, Brown's helmet needs don't come out of thin air. Articles connecting the sport to head trauma have been published time and time again. The league has also taken steps to assure the safety of their players.

If we put player health into the forefront, it is then understandable why Brown is picky with his helmet. We can expect that this won't be the last time that the outspoken star will talk about his helmet.

However, Raiders fans shouldn't feel so concerned about Brown's on-the-field focus. His agent claimed that he is more than ready to take on the upcoming season.

According to Drew Rosenhaus, the Raiders is a good fit for him. While the helmet saga and his frostbitten feet are a cause for concern, he believes that his client is more than ready to play.

Everyone hopes that he is right and Brown can produce good numbers.
