Oakland Raiders linebacker Brandon Marshall had two years left on his contract with the Denver Broncos, but they decided to decline his option and let him walk as a free agent. Marshall signed with the Raiders and will get to face the Broncos next season, including a game to kick off the season.

Some players might talk about how excited they are to see their former teammates or old coaches, but Marshall is all business and he just wants to beat them.

“I daydream about it every day,” Marshall said on NFL Network this week. “Every day, man. I can't wait. It's not going to take me long to see my old teammates, see my old organization, you know, I can't wait. I think it's going to be a helluva game. I see us winning. I went back to Denver not too long ago and I told some of those guys that we were going to beat them.”

The Raiders signed Marshall to a one year contract which means it's going to be another prove it year to get his next contract, and that starts in week one. Last season Marshall played 11 games with the Broncos recording 42 tackles.

The team this season hopes that Marshall and Vontaze Burfict will provide some solid veteran leadership to the team and still provide good production to a defense that really struggled last year.

Look for Marshall to come out strong in week one, and play with an extra chip to help deliver the Raiders a victory.
