The Oakland Raiders still have Derek Carr under center as the team's starting quarterback with the month of June now looming on the immediate horizon. The Raiders were continually linked to eventual No. 1 overall pick and current Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray — among others — earlier in the offseason, which left Carr in limbo for a bit of time.

Now, with OTAs officially underway in Oakland, Carr recently noted that it did become a little annoying that the Raiders continued to be linked to another signal caller throughout the 2019 NFL Draft process.

“Honestly, it got annoying after a while,” Carr finally admitted on Tuesday afternoon, via ESPN. “I'm like, ‘Really, they don't have nothing else to talk about?' And I didn't help the situation, trying to challenge people to fights.”

However, Carr was also quick to admit that he and the rest of the organization — namely Raiders head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock — are still all on the same page.

“We are always on the same page, because that's what our team needs,” Carr added, via ESPN. “That's what the good organizations do.”

Of course, the Raiders have encountered quite the active offseason outside of the talk surrounding Carr. Most notably, the Raiders managed to acquire All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown via trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers to jumpstart the AFC West franchise's offseason efforts. The Raiders also added a litany of other veteran players to aid the team's immediate attempt at a quick turnaround come the 2019 campaign.
